Greater Nashville Regional Council’s mission is, “assist local communities and state agencies in the development of plans and programs that guide growth and development in the most desirable, efficient, and cost-effective manner, while ensuring the continued long-term livability of the region.” This holiday season, you can write to isolated seniors, seniors in nursing homes, and/or disabled individuals in our community who are currently dealing with social isolation. Youth Villages is a private nonprofit organization. They help children with emotional and behavioral problems while helping their families live successfully. You can become a holiday hero by sponsoring or getting gifts for these kids this holiday season. You can either support one kid individually or a set of siblings.
