On Friday, September 9th, 2023, Ensworth High School hosted its annual Club Fair, an event celebrating student extracurricular interest on the Frist Campus. Orchestrated by Cecellia Wang and student leaders, there were a total of 17 faculty-led clubs and 30 student-led organizations represented this year. With clubs everywhere from the Strings n Things Club to French Club to Etymology Club, the exciting opportunities filled the Performance Gym with an air of great excitement. Allies Club leader, Julia Moore, recounts, “It was such an exciting experience to spread awareness of the Allies Club to new students and hype up the club. We want to do even more events and activities than last year, and the more people we have in Allies, the greater our impact can be.” Tearing Down the Walls Junior Leader, Noelle Jamison, also remarks of the day, “It's just really cool to bring like-minded people together and actually change minds.” However, the clubs don’t only focus on social justice: French Club focuses on French cuisine and Ensworth community building over an adventurous snack. Favorite items from last year included crepes and French-style grilled Gruyere cheese sandwiches, sizzled in the 3rd Floor Commons. If you are interested in a club but missed the opportunity to sign up, email Ms. Wang at wangc@ensworth.com. Go Tigers!
