On December 1, George Santos became the sixth U.S. Congressman to be expelled from office.
After being indicted for multiple counts of major fraud among other crimes (Click here for my previous article on Santos for more background information) , Santos was already a goner from the get-go in January when he first entered office. As soon as he started his first term, endless reports were released of multiple scams he created to steal money from innocent people and donors.
Over 300 Democrats and Republicans unusually banded together to finally vote out Santos. When asked about the expulsion the day before, Santos cited how he hadn’t been officially charged and was “outraged” about it, saying, “God help us all.”
To my knowledge, God isn’t a big fan of liars, so maybe Santos should get help first. The day after his expulsion, Santos began his new career on a website called Cameo, which is a site where one can pay to receive an official response from a celebrity. My advice: Don’t give him any money.
Even though it has been quite a long journey, it is a very nice early holiday gift to be able to call him Former Congressman George Santos/Anthony Devolder/Kitara Rivache.
