Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. is a pretty interesting person with a lot of stories surrounding him. He is an avid conspiracy theorist and a polarizing politician. He has gained attention by challenging mainstream narratives like the effectiveness of vaccines and often attacks the lack of government transparency. He has admitted to many things people would often consider his darkest secrets. The average person would not release these things to the public, yet more and more comes out about RFK every month, leaving citizens captivated, confused, or amused. RFK somehow manages to keep surprising people, often making people wonder what he is going to admit to next. Today, I am going to go over my three favorite things RFK has done.
3.
In 2010, he went to the hospital, experiencing mental fogginess and memory loss. These issues were so severe that he was advised to go to the hospital to check for a brain tumor. Following the MRI, the doctors told him the dark spots on his brain scan were consistent with a tumor. He immediately scheduled to get it removed at Duke University. He eventually got a call from a doctor telling him that it was not a brain tumor, but a worm that ate part of his brain and died. This all culminated in him admitting to suffering cognitive problems in a 2012 deposition. Following this coming out on the campaign trail, he said he could eat five more “brain worms” and still beat Biden and Trump in a debate. He also said that he was more mentally and physically fit than both of them, so he proceeded to do pushups on TikTok.
2.
RFK, the nominee for health and human services, attributed his success in school to his heroin usage. He said, “I did very poorly in school until I started doing narcotics; then I went to the top of my class.” He said it helped because his mind was so turbulent. It helped him shut his brain off. He attributed this usage to his undiagnosed ADHD. He did admit that the addiction eventually started to harm him, but he stands by the fact that heroin was behind his high grades.

Despite all of these amusing stories, among others, he continued to campaign until August, when he dropped out due to low polling numbers. Even though he dropped out three months before the election, he got 750,000 thousand votes in the primary. I don’t think any of these mishaps helped his campaign, either.
